We have deployed v1.7.5, a definitive data infrastructure and database architecture milestone. This update resolves long-standing map repetition bottlenecks in Greater Rifts and Orek's Dream by scaling our verified operational dungeon layout database from 7 to up to 32 active world containers, while correcting critical sequence and deployment collisions.
- From 7 to 32 Operational Worlds: executed a massive, data-driven authoring pass that successfully injected 25 brand-new dynamic layout containers (DRLG_Container) totaling 756 newly mapped connecting tiles into the live worlds database.
- 11 Authentic Map Families Activated: curated clean environmental layouts from raw client data assets, mapping dedicated combat grids for Leoric's Agony, Root Caves, Worm Caves, Zoltun Kulle Archives, Keep Depths (War), Aqueducts, Spider Caves, Abattoirs, Bog Caves, Catacombs, and a completely functional reconstruction of Sewers.
- Eradication of Rift Variety Fallbacks: created 6 tailored oversized layout copies (including cath_large/extralarge, crypt_large, and icecave_large). This targets the root cause of map repetitions in Challenge Rifts and Orek's Dream, which were previously forced into aggressive fallbacks due to a shortage of large-scale layout containers.
- Surgical Patching Protocols: deployed a highly secure, repeatable database patch structure mapped strictly by WorldSNO rather than volatile table indexes, safeguarding divergent developer and production databases from synchronization data losses.
- Sequence Collision Cleanup: eliminated corrupted database sequence configurations (setvals) that previously defaulted to 1, cutting off structural primary key conflicts on upcoming database inserts. Remediated and scrubbed all lingering null data debris lines.
- Alfabetic Init Execution Fix: restructured database initialization to properly comply with Docker's alphanumeric start commands, eliminating deployment stalls during container spin-ups.
- Global Database Connections: cross-patched background structures (including the mail system patch scripts) to mandate proper cross-database connectivity directives.
Expected gameplay impact
- Infinite Layout Variety: experience a massive surge in dungeon layout diversity across all Nephalem Rifts, Greater Rifts, and Challenge Rifts with flawless structural integrity.
- Zero Procedural Dead Ends: connectivity algorithms dynamically stitch rooms, corridors, and dead-ends together based on token rules for smooth gameplay tracking.
- Rock-Solid Deployment: completely seamless, error-free fresh server setups and container restarts.
