We have deployed v1.4.4, a major feature and stabilization patch that completely refines the Greater Rift endgame. This update introduces fully functional Empowered Rifts, corrects long-standing UI bugs with Urshi, and patches map generation errors to prevent dead ends.
Greater Rift & Empowered Mechanics
- Empowered Rifts: the checkbox to empower a Greater Rift is now fully operational. The server accurately checks your gold balance, deducts the cost, and awards the bonus upgrade attempt upon completion.
- Robust Rift Boss Deaths: resolved a critical edge case where rewards, Urshi, and the exit portal would fail to spawn if the original Rift Owner disconnected or was absent during the boss kill.
- Exit Portal Preservation: fixed a bug where town-entry cleanup routines would accidentally delete active exit portals. Portals are now safely preserved in all active Rift zones.
- Shared MMO Entry: hardened the Keystone requirements for multi-player games, ensuring all party members are properly checked before entering shared Greater Rifts.
Urshi & Legendary Gem Upgrades
- Urshi Menu Resolution: fixed the infamous "!!Missing!!" text bug in Urshi's interface by prioritizing the authentic dialogue string (398697). Urshi will now automatically open her conversation window when a Rift is completed in time.
- Precise Upgrade Chances: implemented the real scaling probability table based on the difference between the GR Tier and your Legendary Gem Rank (from 100% down to 1% for high-rank caps).
- Instant Persistence: upgrading a gem now forces an immediate database save and UI broadcast. This prevents item rollbacks or visual synchronization delays, even if the gem is currently socketed into equipped gear.
World Generation & Navigation
- Anti-Cutoff Map Generation: implemented a structural layout validator in the WorldGenerator. If a freshly generated Rift map contains broken paths or disconnected layouts, the engine automatically regenerates it safely before letting players enter.
- Movement & LevelArea Safeguards: eliminated transition disconnects by adding defensive checks for null LevelAreas during high-speed player teleports.
