Nephalem,
The first massive player test has been completed and the findings are now integrated into the upcoming v1.2.5 update. This cycle is focused on consistency hardening across Web → Emulator account flows and shared-world gameplay stability.
What was validated in the massive test
- High-concurrency account paths: create account, web login, and password change while the emulator remains online.
- Cross-service state integrity between website data and game-server authentication data.
- Shared-world interaction stress in public MMO hubs under repeated portal/obelisk usage.
What is resolved for v1.2.5
- Account sync consistency: web login now syncs credentials only on real drift, avoiding unnecessary SRP rewrites and reducing auth contention.
- Password update safety: account edit flows now apply related external mutations atomically to avoid half-updated account states.
- Obelisk public-state recovery: Nephalem Obelisks auto-restore to operable state after portal open in MMO public games.
- Operational visibility: improved sync/error logging for faster diagnostics without blocking player access.
Expected impact
- Lower probability of "Authentication failed" edge cases after account edits.
- Cleaner handoff between web account actions and in-game login.
- More stable MMO hub interactions during long sessions.
Thank you to everyone who joined the first mass test. Please keep sending reports with account, UTC time, and reproduction steps in Support.
