We have deployed v1.5.8, a comprehensive endgame stabilization pass. This update overhauls and separates map and monster pools across all Rift types, ensures structural integrity for competitive Greater Rifts, and expands map loading compatibility to support modern client file formats.
Orek's Dream & Rift Layout Pools
- Strict Orek's Dream Maps: implemented a curated layout pool for Orek's Dream, strictly locking it to the 7 premium map structures. Monster tables are tightly bound to the classic high-reward tables.
- Greater Rift Structural Filtering: standard and Empowered Greater Rifts now use independent tiers that strictly exclude layout bottlenecks like Sewers, Aqueducts, and Oasis-like zones to provide a fair competitive environment.
- Broad Nephalem Rifts: standard Nephalem Rifts maintain access to the complete layout pool, allowing casual farming sessions to explore all world environments without restrictions.
World Generation & CASC Expansion
- Modern Client Prefixes: upgraded the map selection filters to support modern CASC directory structures. Adding explicit routing for px_, p4_, p6_, and p43_ prefixes ensures the server can fully utilize high-end environments without ignoring newer maps.
- Fallback Logic Alignment: corrected an issue where the generator would incorrectly discard valid map options when the dynamic world fallback setting was disabled, stabilizing standard configuration profiles.
Expected gameplay impact
- Consistent GR Pacing: say goodbye to hitting dead ends or low-density layouts like sewers during high-tier Greater Rift pushes.
- Visually Stunning Dreams: Orek's Dream will now consistently deliver its signature high-end environments and premium monster groupings.
- Expanded Content Variety: more modern map layouts are now seamlessly woven into the baseline rotation.
