We have deployed v1.3.4, a major stability and gameplay pass. This update resolves a critical regression affecting area-of-effect skills, introduces a new PvP balancing layer, and improves world immersion with smarter AI and respawn logic.
Critical Fixes & Stability
- Global Skill Restoration: fixed a regression that prevented "Ground-Targeted" skills (like Corpse Explosion, Meteor, Bone Spear, and Multishot) from casting when aiming at the floor. All skills now correctly execute regardless of whether you have a target under your cursor.
- Error A7DE35C6 Resolution: fixed multiple collection-related exceptions that caused crashes when joining long-uptime games.
- Crash Prevention: added safety guards for Interactive NPCs (Blacksmith loading), Loot Containers, and Gem bonuses to prevent disconnects during high server activity.
- Necromancer Visuals: implemented the missing visual effects for the "Skeleton Spawner" trait.
PvP Balance & Fair Play
- Anti-One-Shot Protection: implemented a damage cap in PvP. No single hit can deal more than 35% of a player's maximum health.
- Global Damage Tuning: applied a 0.65x global damage multiplier in PvP zones to increase Time-to-Kill (TTK) and encourage tactical combat.
World & AI Evolution
- Smart Density in Narrow Zones: dungeons with tight corridors (like jails or caves) now receive a dynamic spawn boost to ensure they don't feel empty compared to open areas.
- Offline AI "Roam" Mode: when no enemies are nearby, offline bots will now naturally wander (Idle Roam) within a short radius instead of standing perfectly still.
- Cross-Map Respawn Fix: resolved an issue where world IDs could "contaminate" new sessions, causing monsters to spawn in incorrect locations or fail to appear.
Expected gameplay impact
- Fluid Combat: all ground-targeted abilities are now 100% reliable again.
- Engaging PvP: more back-and-forth fighting without being instantly deleted by single high-damage hits.
