We have deployed the January 15 update. This release strengthens Global MMO (beta) with configurable scaling and matchmaking improvements.
Global MMO (Beta): Scaling
- Optional monster HP/damage scaling based on player count (configurable parameters and a cap for calculations).
- Effective monster level mode for Global MMO (zone min/max and policy-driven behavior).
- Periodic per-zone stat recalculation to keep the shared world balanced as population changes.
Matchmaking
- Per-player proxy descriptors to keep party channels isolated while connecting to a shared master world (effective SGameId).
- Optional difficulty-based grouping for Global MMO to avoid mixing handicaps.
- Internal limits expanded to support large-scale testing (visibility/segmentation manages load).
