We have deployed the January 8 update. This week reinforces invites, channel behavior, and connectivity for NAT/LAN environments.
Networking & NAT
- Smarter game-server IP resolution based on client context (loopback, private LAN, and public IP where applicable).
- Game server port now comes from server configuration to prevent mismatches in custom deployments.
Invites & Joining Games
- Joining an existing game via invite no longer re-runs game startup logic: if the game is already running, you join cleanly.
- Effective SGameId propagation improved for proxy/Global MMO scenarios.
Channels
- Clear separation of party channels vs other channels to reduce side effects during state updates.
